Day 1 - Arrival in Coimbatore To Ooty
On arrival at Coimbatore Airport or railway station, receive a transfer to your hotel in Ooty. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel. Ooty The Queen of Hill Stations in South India, Udhagamandalam, is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level. The city is named after the word 'Othakal-mund'. This word in the tribal Toda language means 'House of mountains'. A British base in the 1800s, it was renamed Ootacamund and later Ooty for easy pronunciation. Day 2 - Ooty
After an appetizing breakfast, enjoy a tour of the 'Queen of the Blue Mountains', that includes a visit to Dodabetta Peak for spectacular views. Later on, drive to Coonoor and visit Sims Park and 'Dolphin' nose point. In the afternoon visit the Botanical Gardens and the popular Ooty lake. Return to the hotel and have a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 3 - Ooty To Kodaikanal
After breakfast, drive off to Kodaikanal. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4 - Kodaikanal
After breakfast, enjoy a local sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal visiting the Pillar Rocks, Coaker's walk and the magnificent Bear Shola waterfalls. In the afternoon, spend some time in Bryant Park and enjoy boating on the beautiful Kodai Lake (on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at hotel
Day 5 - Kodaikanal To Madurai | 120 kms (4 hours approx)
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and depart for Madurai. On arrival, check-in and relax. Later in the day, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Madurai covering places such as Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Temple, art museum, Puthu Mandapam, and Raya Gopuram etc. Return to the hotel after the tour and have a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 6 - Rameshwaram
After breakfast, drive off to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and proceed for a local tour of the town. one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Legend says that Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands where Lord Rama performed worship of a Sand Lingam made by Sita. Other places of interest in Rameshwaram are Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi, Agnitheertham Gandamadana Parvatham etc. Stay overnight at your hotel in Rameshwaram.
Day 7 - Rameshwaram To Kanyakumari
After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari. The Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal merge at Kanyakumari. It is an important pilgrimage center for Hindus. Upon arrival in Kanyakumari, check-in at the hotel and proceed on a visit to Vevakananda Rock, Gandhi Museum and Kumari Amman Temple. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 - Kanyakumari To Trivandrum (80 kms/ 2 hrs)
After your breakfast, check-out from the beach resort and proceed to Trivandrum airport to board a flight for your onward destination.
