Located at an altitude of almost 6000 ft. in Idukki district of Kerala, this enchanting town offers visitors a relief from the summer heat and provides breathtaking sceneries and a slice of adventure. Home to exotic flora and fauna, and nestled among the mountains of the Western Ghats, this hill station offers a sanctuary to many endangered species of animals, at Eravikulam National Park and Kurinjimala Sanctuary. Witness the majesty of Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India, which can be seen from Munnar. The rare and beautiful ‘Neelakurinji’ flower blossoms on the slopes of the hills in Munnar, once in every twelve years. Munnar also has several pristine lakes and reservoirs surrounded by tall mountains that exude a serene aura, that calms your spirit and kindles the fires of romance in your heart.

Tour Plan

Day 1 - Cochin-Munnar (130 Kms will take around 4 hours)

Arrival at Cochin Airport/railway Station Meet our representative and than transfer to Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India's highest peak (anamudi-2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara waterfalls & Tea Plantations. On arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. evening free for leisure overnight free for leisure.

Day 2 - Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Morning visit the Mattupetty dam, Echo point and the Kundala Lake. Boating facilities are available at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. Later visit a tea factory and tea museum. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park which is also known as Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Thar. Nilgiri Thar can be observed very closely here. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - Munnar-Cochin

After breakfast checkout from hotel and start your journey to kochi and do local sightseeing later in the evening get a drop at airport/Railway station
